Pin Tourny

A web-app used throughout the region to manage best game style qualifying for pinball tournaments.

An AngularJS front-end sends AJAX calls to an API built in PHP. Using Redis as a messaging queue, the updates are pushed out to the connected clients via a socket connection and a Node server.

A permissions system allows the tournament organizers full access to setup multiple tournaments while assigning scorers that witness and score all games from their mobile device.

In addition to publicly available main site that is optimized for mobile, a specially designed page allows the live results to be displayed on screens throughout the venue.
